Sylvan Craft uses Tried & True Danish Oil, which is made of polymerized linseed oil and is free of toxins, including volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

Like many stains and finishes on furniture, Danish Oil offers some scratch and damage resistance. Unlike many other finishes, it is a penetrating oil that seeps into the wood rather than a shell-like coating that sits on top of it.
